Initiation requires the same kind of effort as any form of work that we are asked to do in our life - whether it is spiritual work, work on ourselves, on our deep nature or simply on the life that must change to allow us to be better and more in tune with ourselves. All these situations are the result of awareness. It all starts with that. The opening of the conscience, the conscience of its deep being in opening to the world which surrounds it. Initiation requires of the student and of all who consider themselves apprentices in life to be willing to open their hearts and souls to the newness that structured life has always hidden from them. Life is a choice and this choice always comes from us. The truth of this choice is personal and everyone has their own truth. This is why the initiation of each full person is made according to his degree of evolution. In ancient times, this term was used to designate the change of perception. During his life, each person must change his perception to understand and live things that only openness and faith can reveal to us.
